2017 Green Living Show + Giveaway

Earlier this week, I had the pleasure of attending the media preview of the 2017 Green Living Show. This year’s Green Living Show is taking place at the Metro Convention Centre April 7th-9th in downtown Toronto. Running for its 11th year, there were many innovative products being featured from this year’s show at the preview. I took a few photos to show you what happens at a media preview.

I’ve gone to the Green Living Show every year for the past 4 years but this was my first year as a member of the media. It was so nice being in a room with other people who didn’t find taking photos of everything was strange. With 400+ vendors attending the 2017 Green Living Show, a few of them were at the preview.

2017 Green Living Show Food & Drink

The Green Living Show showcased the diversity in Ontario through the power of food. With over 20 different chefs, breweries, wineries and cideries, the Local Food & Drink Pavilion will be a celebration of the diversity and mosaic of people in Canada. All dishes that are featured in the pavilion use local and sustainable ingredients while also each being under $4! Most people give the excuse of not eating sustainable food because of cost. I’m hoping that because of the Food & Drink Pavilion, this gives others the realization that it can be budget friendly.

2017 Green Living Show Innovators

From all-natural soda to yoga leggings, the Green Living Show has tons of new innovative products to showcase. The media preview featured the top 11 innovative products from this year’s show and there were some pretty cool companies being featured!

Since I have a major interest in beauty, I was happy to see a few companies sweeping the way in green beauty. I’ve been dabbling more in green beauty, and loved the addition of these companies.
