DAVIDsTEA has always been one of my favourite shops to stop by in the mall. When they came out with The Macaron Collection, I was ecstatic! With Spring just around the corner, I rounded up a few things that remind me of warmer weather rather than this dreary cold that Toronto has been given. With 6 macaron-inspired teas and 3 super cute mugs for spring, you will be transported to Paris in minutes.

Macaron Rustic Mug Review

When I think of spring, I think of fresh flowers, bright skies and light colours. I love that this collection has that light airy feel and beautiful pastel colours to match. The Macaron Collection has three cute mugs to choose from, two of which had polka dots. I opted for the mug with the macaron design because it’s what caught my eye the most. Just look at that design!

I’m a lover of all things rustic (I totally designed my living room rustic inspired, post coming soon!) and this rustic inspired mug with macarons on it was calling my name! The Macaron Rustic Mug retails for $15 CAD but has a special on for 2 for $25. I would even say that this is the star of the collection!! This mug is made of durable porcelain which I loved because I’m used to many mugs with the rustic style that are often made of metal.

I really liked this mug because of the size as well. It’s large enough to fit a good amount of tea while not be so big that your tea will become cold by the time you’re done drinking it.

Macaron Collection Escape to Paris Tea

Being immediately drawn to the allure of the Parisian-inspired collection, I wanted to sample everything which is why I opted for the Macaron Teas Escape to Paris set. This set includes 6 teas that are perfectly sized for sampling and retails for $14 CAD. The collection includes English Toffee (10g), Cantaloupe Ice (12g), Chocolate Macaroon (8g), Coconut Cream Pie (9g), Jasmine Crème Brulée (8g) as well as Raspberry Meringue (10g).

In store, I was able to try the Jasmine Crème Brulée iced with milk and sweetener (agave syrup) and it tasted delicious! Very sweet so it was a nice after dinner treat.

The Macaron Collection for 2017 features 3 new teas and are nice and light for upcoming warmer weather! Cantaloupe Ice, Jasmine Crème Brulée and Raspberry Meringue are all part of the new collection.
