Garlic & Chive Spice Mix

This delicious garlic and chive spice mix is great on top of meats!

  • 6 tbsp dried chives
  • 5 tbsp dried garlic
  • 3 tbsp dried dill
  • 1 tbsp kosher salt

Spicy Indian Inspired Spice Mix

This mix is great on steaks or adding a dimension to your broths.

These spice mixes are a wonderful way of adding flavour to any dish without adding extra calories. Any of the above spice mixes can actually be turned into a dressing or a dip as well with the addition of just a few extra ingredients.

Make your spice mix into a dressing!

If you’re looking for a deliciously inexpensive homemade dressing for your salad, simply combine your spice mix with a few extra ingredients. Shake 2 tablespoons of the spice mix with 1/2 cup of olive oil, 1/3 cup of vinegar and 2 tablespoons of water in a jar. Shake thoroughly and serve immediately. This yields 1 cup of dressing.

Make your spice mix into a dip!

This homemade dip is free of additives and is a great way to whip up something quick when company arrives unexpectedly. Combine 2 tablespoons of mix with 3/4 cup of plain Greek yogurt, 1/4 cup of sour cream and 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Mix thoroughly and keep refrigerated if not serving immediately. This yields 1 cup of dip.
