With its durable build, the Welsey Trench will last many seasons and at $200 USD, is a more practical and stylish way to weather the rain. Standing at 5’0″, I need to be aware of different cuts of jackets or else I drown in the fabric! This trench fits me fairly well and has a nice cut that is flattering for my height.

Helly Hansen has impressed me with stylish rainboots as well! The W Midsund 2 ($65 USD) is the perfect height for us shorter ladies. I’ve always had difficulty finding a proper height of boot as they can often be too tall which makes me look tinier than I am! I’m glad Helly Hansen has more than one height of boot. These ones are built to last and keep my feet 100% dry!
