Les Soins de Jacynthe Skincare Review

Lately, I’ve been wanting to refresh my skincare and beauty by looking at more green beauty options. Without any chemicals or artificial preservatives, Les Soins de Jacynthe is 100% natural and contains active products are found in nature from plants and flowers. Not tested on animals and cruelty-free, Les Soins de Jacynthe is a line founded by Jacynthe René that’s devoted to help improve your beauty routine while also eliminating any unnecessary chemicals in your life. French Canadian Jacynthe René is an actress as well as producer and her skincare line Les Soins de Jacynthe recently joined PETA’s Beauty Without Bunnies program as a cruelty-free company. By using these products, Jacynthe René from Jmagazine guarantees a supple and firm skin which benefit from the plant oils and carotenoids as well as instant softness due to deep hydration (which helps to make fine lines disappear!).

Jacynthe’s Beauty Essentials include a face trio: cleansing oil, rose water and serum. At first look, the packaging is stunning. These apothecary style bottles are made of glass and very strong! However, the labels on the bottles have a more homemade look and add a more delicate look.

The Cleansing Oil (Huile nettoyante) is 50mL at $28.35 CAD* and helps to regulate sebum which can actually also be used as a serum for those under 30. When I first used the oil, I noticed how smooth and soft my skin was afterward. This cleansing and purifying oil is composed of jojoba, apricot, sea buckthorn CO2, and bourbon geranium rosa, ylang ylang and sandalwood. The cleansing properties surprised me as I’m used to bubbly face washes and this cleansed without irritating my skin.

This cleansing oil doesn’t have a strong scent and feels fairly light. I liked using this to remove my makeup as the oil helps to really remove even the most stubborn waterproof eyeliner and mascara!

The next part of the trio is the rose floral water (eau florale de rose) made with Bulgarian roses. At 100mL for $21.00 CAD*, the rose water is applied right before applying the serum. This rose water smelled so amazing and the lovely scent doesn’t linger for long. I’ve used rose water in my skincare in the past and love that it’s super gentle while also being extremely hydrating.

The toner helps the skin to better absorb the serum that follows and allows the skin to stay moisturized and hydrated for a longer period of time.

The serum (sérum de Jacynthe – soin du visage) is 30mL at $80.85 CAD*. This anti-aging serum promotes natural collagen production and helps improve hydration while also maintaining the integrity of the skin. The serum is extremely potent and is packed with many natural ingredients such as evening primrose oil, borage, buckthorn & rosehip extracted CO2, sandalwood, rose, natural vitamin E and rosemary oleoresin.

This serum smells sort of like Omega-3’s to me… if you’ve ever had flax seed oil, you know what I’m talking about! I believe that out of the trio, this serum is what attributed my glow that everyone comments on! After using the serum, my skin feels extremely hydrated and healthy. I love how it makes my skin look and feel.

Overall, I love that the trio uses all-natural ingredients; it feels amazing that I know there are no harsh chemicals and my skin is happier too! Made for all skin types, I highly recommend that you check out this brand!
