June 2017 Empties

This month, I have a ton more products to let you guys know about! For this month's June 2017 Empties post, I've been adding more products that I've finished (not just skincare or makeup based!). This summer, I've been working on more skincare since it's so important! Essentially the canvas, your face is fairly important when it comes to creating a great makeup look. As a surprise this month, my fiancé thought to join me with his empties as well! This June 2017 empties post is my first his and hers empties... Watch out, cause this post is long!

May 2017 Empties

If you're unfamiliar with my monthly empties posts, I've been making an effort to diminish my huge pile of samples and products (see blog post here: Project: Finish Samples). Just as a disclaimer though, I don't use more product in an effort to just get rid of it! I still only use the same amount (e.g. 1 pump for serum) and I don't drown my skin in moisturizer. I just make a more conscious effort to use the same things daily rather than dabbling in many products at once. You can check out my previous empties posts here and here... but this month's empties are different!

April 2017 Empties

Each month, I strive to finish products that are almost used up because of Project: Finish Samples. The amount of sample sized or travel sized products I own is quite overwhelming. My reasoning? I keep thinking I need to save them for upcoming trips or overnighters, but really... who am I kidding?! Just how many trips am I taking on a monthly basis? I noticed my samples were piling up and so, in an effort to diminish them, I'm using them up! This month in my April 2017 empties, I really concentrated on finishing up hair care and skin care products. You can also see my last monthly empties post (here), where I cover mascara & body care. March 2017 Empties

I haven't done an empties post before, but I've finished quite a few products last quarter. I've been trying to clear out the clutter in my life and that includes my messy desk! You can read my previous post on what I've started with. I've only saved what I used up for the month of March so going forward, I'll be more diligent to save up all products I've used! For those that are not familiar with Empties Posts, it's a round up of products that bloggers have used up for the month. So, it's bloggers essentially taking pictures of their trash of the month. If you're looking at these posts on the outside, this can be pretty strange. I personally like reading empties posts because it makes it feel like there's proof as to how much someone likes a particular product.
