Tarteist Pro Glow Palette Review + Swatches

I’ve always had a soft spot for Tarte: eco-friendly, cute branding and innovative makeup (I mean, clay infused makeup?!). When they came out with their new Tarteist collection, I knew I needed to pick it up stat! Believe me when I say that when you see my swatches of the Tarteist Pro Glow Palette, you’ll need to go out and pick up their collection too!

Tarteist Pro Glow Palette Review

First off, I just want to give Tarte a shoutout for their packaging: chic and simple. I’m really loving the new design for their Tarteist collection. The outer packaging reminds me of NARS packaging with the matte black rubber, but the other side of the Tarteist Pro Glow is a nice gold that gives it a nice contrast and refreshing modern twist. The inner packaging is also very nicely placed with two mirrors on the sides of the palette. The Tarteist Pro Glow retails for $59 CAD, features 6 different 0.17 oz sized product (1.06 oz total) and can be found at Sephora Canada.

The Tarte Pro Glow palette features four powder highlights (lit, strobe, fire and stunner), one powder contour (sculpt) and one cream contour (shade). The highlighters are highly pigmented and don’t contain any kind of chunky glitter or give off a chalky look. The formula of the powders were nice and buttery and there wasn’t much excess kicked up in the pan which is great since I didn’t want powder in the cream contour! These colours look stunning on my golden, light-medium skin. Formulated without parabens or phthalates, I also love that Tarte included good-for-you skin ingredients in the formula such as Amazonian Clay, Coconut, Vitamin E, Shea Butter and Vanilla… which also gives the palette an amazing scent! These colours blend beautifully, and they’re buttery soft! These highlighters are great since they give off a smooth sheen, less sparkle, and doesn’t accentuate the look of pores.

Overall, the Tarteist PRO Glow Highlight & Controur palette is great if you missed out on any of the Anastasia Glow Kits or if you’re looking to expand your makeup kit. It features a lot of highlighters and would be a great addition to any beauty addict’s collection. The Tarte Tarteist PRO Glow palette is great if you like highlighting and contouring if you don’t already have a ton in your possession already!
